INCI: Shikimic Acid
Description
Verochic is particularly suitable for deodorants as roll-on, spray and cream formulations where enzymatic and bacterial inhibition should be reached in order to reduce or eliminate human malodors. Due to its antibacterial and exfoliating properties, it could be also used in anti-acne creams and emulsions, in controlling follicular hyperkeratosis and bacterial proliferation in acne subjects. It could be used also for anti-dandruff shampoos and lotions. Due to its natural origin, Verochic should be considered as a valid alternative to traditional synthetic ingredients still used in cosmetic products.
